The Role
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To work with and, where appropriate, lead Operations Leads and other members of the work winning team in the generation, management and conversion of a sustainable pipeline of work that reflects the current and anticipated Business Plan. This is achieved through programmes of research and intelligence gathering, the interpretation and communication of data and the preparation and implementation of appropriate action plans.
To manage and lead the work winning activity by developing and implementing winning strategies in the bidding process. Review, analyse and manage the response to client RFP’s from start to finish, incorporate for each bid a project team (ops, procurement, commercial, finance) and assign, manage required inputs in order to support the response to tender requirements. Liaise with external stakeholders with regards to clarifications and site understanding. Make recommendations at SMT level that ensures strategic objectives are met and benchmarks Carillion’s capability with the competition. Develop, challenge and apply various constant improvements in the process by comparing similar models on a case to case basis to ensure competitive edge in the market.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND APPLIED SKILLS
Degree Business or similar
5 plus years of experience in similar industry
3 plus years of experience in GCC
Cost modelling
Contracting experience
