Job Description

1. Follow-up on trade finance transactions in conformity with credit authorization requirements.
2. Monitor the maturities and timely renewals of credit limits and transaction documentation;
3. Contribute to the Credit Line / transaction set up in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer: assist in the preparation of credit requests and negotiations with the banks when necessary
4. Input and follow up on the execution of payments, Forex transactions and all related bank transactions.
5. Monitoring of bank exposure related to trade finance transactions which fall under the Account Officer’s responsibility, in coordination with the Chief Financial Officer, Credit and Treasury when necessary;
6. Assist in maintaining the Bank limits management tools up to date, when required.
7. Monitor and review bank reconciliation and related system cash flow reports for accuracy and completeness.
8. Resolve accounting discrepancies in terms of bank interest loan, overdraft facilities and credit facilities.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Skills

1. Bachelor's Degree in accounting, minimum of five years of accounting experience, certified public accounting qualification is a plus.
2. Minimum 35 years of age
3. Bilingual (Arabic & English)
