The Role
My client is one of the UK's leading engineering consultants with an excellent reputation and a track record in the Middle East spanning over 30 years. They are currently recruiting for a resident engineer - structures to work on a major highways project in Doha, Qatar. The candidate will report to the Senior Resident Engineer and will be supported buy and Assistant Engineer and a team of structural inspectors and will be responsible for ensuring that all structures sections of the projects are completed in accordance with the contract requirements and on time.
Candidates must have a degree or equivalent in civil engineering from an internationally recognised university and must also be a chartered engineer or professional engineer. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working as a resident engineer on major highway projects throughout the world and must have a specialism in structures such as bridges, flyovers and underpasses.
