Role Purpose
 is responsible to provide 24x7 monitoring operation and technical support for triple play Network , corresponding Infrastructure  and  integrated systems
 Insure that All data links ,network elements and transfer points are up and running according to the agreed QoS, and operation standards
 Respond to the network and platforms alarms through the different monitoring tools

Essence of Role/Key Accountabilities
• Ensure the Availability of  triple play Network
• Monitor all the network elements and operational KPIs
• Manage and act promptly to all triggered alarms
• Escalate the critical cases to the operational support teams
• Develop the required scripts to enhance the operation



• Participate in providing the operation reports
• deliver the shift hand over report
• Update the operation logger tools

Role Dimension: Financial (limits/mandates), Non-Financial (customers/staff/stakeholders)

Person Specification: Technical Skills/Professional Expertise
• Qualification / Experience:
o University Degree in telecommunication engineering ,systems Engineering or computer engineering,
o At least 1 / 2 year IT experience
• PC Knowledge:
o Professionalism dealing with Windows platforms , Microsoft office support
o Web analysis tools
• Technical skills:
o UNIX administration background
o Knowledge about triple play concepts and different setup scenarios
o Familiar with NOC environment and related operational flow & support experiences.
o Strong Remedy background
o Excellent knowledge on Networking theory – CCNA is a must
o Experience in dealing with Network managements software
o Network elements (Switches , Routers..) configuration
o Familiar with CRM applications
o ITIL Foundation and service management background
• Personal skills:
o Strong Conversational English skill
o Strong Business writing skills
o Very strong trouble shooting and analytical skills


• Business and Managerial skills:
o Understanding of the Telecommunications Market
o Working under stress and against very tight time line.
o Dynamic and  Customer oriented
o Very good communication skills
