| Description : | The Assistant Manager, Digital Publishing (DP) will oversee the DP team; delivering service direction from the assistant vice president DP; liaising with the DP managers/assistant managers in other sites to ensure consistency of service delivery; and to monitor and ensure all members of the DP team adhere to all required administration and daily functions, To be able to deliver high-quality service to a constantly increasing client base. Ensure a high quality of work by regularly reviewing team output, training and coaching staff on the use of new guidelines and on meeting quality standards, and consistently seek to achieve and raise the set quality benchmark as necessary. Ensure delivery of projects according to specification, cost and timeline by regularly monitoring project requirements, planning and directing production in close collaboration with other team leads, assigning work to staff and coaching them as needed, and reviewing staff reports. Ensure handovers are thorough and efficiently carried out across shifts and between sites. Create and maintain measures for operator accuracy and quality of work. Creation of processes for team member improvement where identified as necessary. | |
